Fun little lovebug cakes, made using our Wilton #234 multi opening tip.
These were really simple to make, just use your favourite cupcake recipe, (how about red velvet for Valentine's) or you could even decorate shop bought cakes.
We mixed up some buttercream icing and coloured it blue for a fun twist on traditional Valentine's colours. Then we used the Wilton nozzle to pipe the monsters fur.
The heart antenna are made with some red fondant rolled out and cut with a small heart cutter then sprinkled with red edible glitter for extra sparkle! We used a little icing to attach these to cocktail sticks before pushing them into the cakes.
Then a couple of cute eyes and you're done!
